Our bikinis are made cheeky, secure & tight. Perfect for the waves & an active lifestyle. Your suit should be snug when you first try it on so that once it's wet, you achieve a perfect water fit. We sew VERY SKIMPY. Just because the size is L, that doesn't mean more coverage. More likely it means longer straps & an increase in fabric by a few centimeters. Our swimwear will keep a consistent "Tai Swim" cut, no matter the style. Please contact our fit specialists at info@taiswim.co should you need to inquire about fit or style advice.

Example: If you are not used to tight/sporty swimwear & you usually wear a Medium in other brands not based in Hawai'i, you would be a Large in Tai Swim Co.

I have more of a "sporty" / boyish body type aka my silhouette is very rectangle lol. I have hips but not much of a waist, and these bottoms are SO flattering!!! The high cut gave me the waist curves that I don't normally have. You can also zhuzh around the gathered fabric to provide yourself a little more coverage if you feel more comfortable that way! I got these with the Joelle top in the Blossom print and it is my favorite set from Tai. I am 5'5" and 120 lbs and I got both in M. And yes, they do make your booty look extra peachy :)

Ordering these bottoms I was hesitant on which size to get so I emailed tai swim with my measurements! Emailing with Matt who is their fit specialist was one of the best customer experiences I have had in a while! They were able to tell me which size would work for me best and I have to say their advice didn't disappoint! I am a 40 in hips and 33 waist and I got a size large bottoms and they're perfect! Seriously - you won't regret buying these bottoms!

Insanely flattering

I will admit I was hesitant when I ordered these bottoms. I am a bit curvier than most of the models featured and was worried they just wouldn't flatter me in the same way. I am so happy I gave them a go - they are so incredibly cute and flattering! I have a bit of an ass and was worried the cut of these bottoms would be a bit too obscene on me. The material is super soft and they are clearly very well made. I will definitely be purchasing more suits in the future :) I followed the size chart and ordered a Large in the bottoms (I am 5'4 and ~135 lbs with weight sitting on my hips), seeing as the suit doesn't go around the hips anyways, I wish I had followed the size chart for the waist measurement and ordered the M. The large still works but I will be ordering medium bottoms in the future.
