Tai Swim Collaboration With Canopy Yoga by Bizia Following Activewear Event in Wahiawā

Tai Swim hosted a community workout and yoga event this weekend in Wahiawā in partnership with Bizia Café, Canopy Yoga by Bizia, and local fitness instructor GIO.

The event marked the release of Tai Swim’s newest Cowry swimwear and activewear collection and brought together members of Oʻahu’s yoga, fitness, and North Shore community for a morning of movement, coffee, and local shopping.

Tai Swim has produced swimwear and activewear since 2019. The brand designs swim and movement pieces using recycled materials. Every print is hand drawn by local girl Tai in Kailua, Hawaiʻi.

The Wahiawā event featured movement led by GIO, a local Oʻahu fitness instructor and Tai's little brother, followed by yoga and community gathering at Canopy Yoga by Bizia.

Canopy Yoga by Bizia operates across from Bizia Surf Café in the Wahiawā industrial complex and serves the North Shore community through weekly yoga programming, workshops, and movement classes. The studio has also hosted free yoga classes following recent North Shore flooding events.

Canopy Yoga by Bizia, also known as @canopymovement, regularly offers community classes alongside scheduled studio programming.

Bizia Surf Café and Canopy Yoga are part of the same locally operated business. The business also produces hand-shaped surfboards made from invasive albizia wood, a fast-spreading species found across Hawaiʻi. The use of albizia redirects invasive wood into surfboard production.

Bizia Surf Café also partners with local farms to source ingredients and support agricultural producers across Oʻahu.

The Tai Swim x GIO x Canopy Yoga by Bizia event introduced Tai Swim’s newest activewear and swim collection through a local fitness and wellness gathering in Wahiawā on Oʻahu’s North Shore.

Tai Swim began producing activewear in 2019 and continues to release swim and movement collections in limited quantities throughout the year.
