Mahalo for shopping our small business. We hope you love your bikinis, but if not, we offer 14-day store credit returns or exchanges for most items purchased on our website. Clothing and Accessories are final sale.

Start Your Return/Exchange
You’ll receive store credit minus the $9.98 shipping label deduction after we inspect your return.

- Log in with your email.
- Enter your emailed 6-digit code.
- Click your order and select the item(s) to return.
- Click Request return. If approved, you'll get a return label.
Ship your item within 5 days to the address provided on your label.
Returns must be approved before shipping. Unapproved packages will be refused, returned to sender, and are ineligible for refund, credit, or resubmission.
There is no $9.98 shipping deduction for even-exchanges. Items requested for a swap must be in-stock and the same or greater value than originally paid.
- Follow Return Steps 1-3.
- On Step 4, add a note with the style, color, and size of the in-stock item(s) you'd like to exchange for. (ex: Joelle Top - Haleiwa - Medium)
- If you do not specify the exchange item, we will process as a store credit return with the shipping fee deduction. Exchanges are one time only.
Once we approve and receive your return, we'll ship the item specified in your return request note after we receive it.
Exchanges must be approved before shipping. Unapproved packages will be refused, returned to sender, and are ineligible for refund, credit, or resubmission.
Returns FAQ
We are unable to offer returns/exchanges for items that were:
- Purchased on sale or with a discount that is 20% off or more
- Marked final sale
- Purchased more than 14 days ago
- Purchased at a trunk show, pop-up shop or at any retailer
- Purchased from third parties like TikTok, or Meta/Instagram
- Bought or gifted as part of a giveaway or bought using store credit from a giveaway
- Clothing such as dresses, shirts, shorts, skirts, rompers and lounge sets
- Accessories such as hats, towels, scrunchies, bags, and snorkel gear
- Gift cards
There are no exceptions to this policy, even if you ask.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be purchased on our website, unworn & in the same condition that you received it within 14 days of the purchase date & bought at a discount of less than 20% off. It must also be in the original packaging with poly bag, hygienic liner, & hang tag. We provide free gifts with select orders & should you need to make a return or exchange, those gifts are yours to keep.
Please take care when trying on items. We cannot accept items that have any stains or damages from makeup, bodily fluid, rips, holes, snags, pilling or smells from soap, perfume, lotion, deodorant, smoking, animals, etc.
For sanitation purposes, please try on swimwear with underwear. Returns that do not meet our quality standards will be refused & returned to the sender.
Yes, Tai Swim will accept exchanges for swim in any style, or different items. We are able to offer even-exchanges or store credit returns. To exchange for a new size or style, leave a note in your return request specifying which style, or simply place a new order with your store credit.
Yes we require a receipt as proof of purchase. Please start your online order return here so that we can verify your order. You can additionally respond directly to your order confirmation emails to inquire about your exchange or send a new email to our Customer Care Team at info@taiswim.co with your order number in the subject line & message.
No. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, we are unable to offer a return, exchange, or store credit. International orders must submit a return request within 30 days.
As of now, Tai Swim does not have a storefront & we are therefore unable to provide any in-person exchanges or returns.
Other Questions
If you purchased Tai Swim from a retailer, any return or exchange must be handled directly with the store where you bought it.
Example: buying Tai Swim at Sugar Sugar and trying to return it at Kailua Beach Adventures wouldn’t work — they are completely separate businesses. We do not have access to any order, inventory, or payment information from our retail partners. Each retailer has its own separate return policy, and you will need to contact them directly.
We are happy to provide return labels for USA orders your convenience. The return label cost is $9.98 & this amount is deducted from your store credit return.
Please note that international orders or USA military mail orders must provide their own label. In this case, there is no shipping deduction from your store credit.
Depending on where you live, return product delivery times will vary. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
All returns must be approved through our system and shipped using our provided prepaid label. If you send a package without approval, it won’t be recognized in our system and will be refused/returned to sender.

Tai Swim is happy to offer store credit for the value you paid of your returned item, minus our return shipping label fee of $9.98. Once we receive & inspect the item, you will be issued store credit digitally via email. Tai Swim store credit will expire after 5 years of inactivity. This store credit can be used to make the purchase of any new item. Store credit does not include the shipping cost originally paid.
Unfortunately TikTok, Facebook & Instagram do not allow us to change, edit, or cancel orders placed through their third party website. We always recommend placing an order directly through our website so that we can best assist you.
Packages may not be able to complete delivery for a number of reasons. Most often it is due to an incorrect address provided at checkout. It's up to the customer to provide the correct shipping address. In the unlikely event that your package was undeliverable, you will be issued store credit for the items in your order. A 30% restocking fee will be deducted from your store credit total no longer than one business week after receiving the returned items. The store credit total does not include shipping costs. You can use the store credit to replace your items. We are unable to re-ship packages to an undeliverable address.
Tai Swim is not responsible for delayed, lost or stolen packages. Once your items have left our warehouse & begun tracking, it's completely out of our hands. As a small business, we cannot take on the liability of carriers losing our packages & not reimbursing us for them. If you believe your package has been lost or stolen, please file a claim with the parcel carrier indicated on your tracking number. We always recommend purchasing shipping insurance at checkout.
Policies
High quality manufacturing is at the core of Tai Swim. All ordered items packed at our warehouse leave in perfect condition & we take extreme care in handling packages. Unfortunately our mail carriers do not, & your item may be altered in transit. Let us know if your item did not arrive in brand new condition, (incomplete stitching, discoloration, pilling). We will happily issue credit for manufacturing defects within 14 days after delivery on a case-by-case basis if you send the item back to us.
Granting credit is subject to approval & does not cover damages that occur in transit. We will ask for photos of your defective item & exact amounts issued will be dependent on the severity of the defect. While we pride ourselves on creating long-lasting swimwear & accessories, our quality guarantee does not cover usage beyond practical lifetime. This does not cover items purchased at our retailers or outside of the website. It additionally does not cover normal wear/tear & is not a lifetime warranty. Please read our care instructions carefully on every product page.
Tai Swim Co does not offer refunds of any kind for our items. This includes refunds for price adjustments, retailer pricing, delayed/lost or stolen packages, final sale items, wrong item purchased, or promotional events. Tai Swim can only accept unworn returns for store credit within 14 days of your order date in the USA, & 30 days for International orders.
By placing an order with Tai Swim, you agree to our Return Policy and understand the following:
- Unauthorized returns, false claims, and chargebacks outside our policy (including for final sale or damaged items) are considered retail fraud.
- Chargebacks filed after receiving goods may be treated as theft. We reserve the right to report fraudulent claims to authorities.
- All evidence, including order records, emails, photos, tracking, and policy screenshots, will be submitted in disputes.
- Customers who misuse the chargeback process will be banned from future purchases and may be investigated.

Tai Swim Co LLC reserves the right to solely define & limit, refuse, and/or reject returns from customers at any time due to:
- An irregular or excessive returns history indicative of “wardrobing”
- An irregular or excessive returns history involving worn, altered, laundered, damaged, or missing items
- Potential fraudulent or criminal activity
- Threatening language, cyberbullying or harassment
