The Story Behind Kaimana: Our Mini Summer Capsule

Some places stay with you.

Long after you've left, you remember the color of the water, the way the trade winds felt before the sun came up, and how the ocean looked on mornings when the sky was still gray.

Kaimana is one of those places.

Named after the beach our founder grew up visiting, this print is less about recreating a place and more about remembering how it felt to be there.

The blues were pulled from the water just beyond the shoreline. The softer tones echo overcast mornings when the beach is quiet, before Waikīkī wakes up. Every brushstroke was hand-painted, inspired by movement rather than perfection.

Growing up in Hawaiʻi, beaches become part of your story. They hold childhood memories, family traditions, surf sessions, and afternoons that somehow become the moments you remember most. Mornings when the water looked almost silver before the sun came over Diamond Head.

Kaimana is ours.

This collection is a small tribute to the place that shaped the way we see the ocean, not a postcard, but a memory. Kaimana isn't just the name of this print. It's a piece of home.

Hand-painted. Hand drawn and designed in Hawaiʻi. Produced in small batches.
