Our bikinis are made cheeky, secure & tight. Perfect for the waves & an active lifestyle. Your suit should be snug when you first try it on so that once it's wet, you achieve a perfect water fit. We sew very skimpy. Just because the size is L, that doesn't mean substantially more coverage. It does however mean longer straps & an increase in fabric by half an inch or less (see image below). Our swimwear will keep a consistent "Tai Swim" minimal cut, no matter the style or size.

Pants & skirts are measured from the waist seam to the floor. Mini & maxi dresses are measured from the bust (scoop neck) to the bottom of the dress at its full length.

For our activewear jumpsuits and rompers, we recommend choosing your usual active bottom or swimwear bottom size for the best fit. The adjustable straps offer added support, and if you're between sizes, we suggest sizing up for extra comfort.

Men's boardshorts fit very true to size. Sticking with your regular hip size is recommended. All of our boardshorts feature standard pant sizing with lace-up waist. Our trunks feature an adjustable string with elastic bands to secure at your preferred tightness level.

Kid's swimwear fits true to size and is based on age (years). Going with your child's age is a great place to start. Hip measurements feature the minimum and maximum stretch for bikini bottoms and boardshorts. In-between sizes should size up. All kids swimwear and trunks feature many places for adjusting and can stretch with your child as they grow.

Tai and Austin handcraft every Tai Swim print from scratch. Tai draws inspiration from collected shells and island flowers to create her signature soft, feminine patterns. Austin adds his surreal, intricate touch through abstract layers and iconic graphics. Together, they paint, carve, and design every collection, ensuring each bikini is a true original and never mass produced.

We sew with plant-based dyes on recycled, non-toxic fabric. Each piece is cut to reduce waste, not for perfect placement, so no two bikinis are the same. Our tiny capsule drops are one-time-only and never restocked.
