Take measurements using soft tape measure.
Measure the fullest area of your bust, waist, & hips.
If you are in between sizes, we recommend sizing up.

Our bikinis are made cheeky, secure & tight. Perfect for the waves & an active lifestyle. Your suit should be snug when you first try it on so that once it's wet, you achieve a perfect water fit. We sew very skimpy. Just because the size is L, that doesn't mean substantially more coverage. It does however mean longer straps & an increase in fabric by a few centimeters (see image below). Our swimwear will keep a consistent "Tai Swim" minimal cut, no matter the style or size.

Example: If you are not used to tight/sporty swimwear & usually wear a Medium in other brands not based in Hawai'i, you might be a Large in Tai Swim.

Pants & skirts are measured from the waist seam to the floor. Mini & maxi dresses are measured from the bust (scoop neck) to the bottom of the dress at its full length.

Men's boardshorts fit very true to size. Sticking with your regular waist size is recommended. All of our boardshorts feature standard pant sizing with lace-up waist. Our trunks feature an adjustable string with elastic bands to secure at your preferred tightness level.

Kid's swimwear fits true to size and is based on age (years). Going with your child's age is a great place to start. Hip measurements feature the minimum and maximum stretch for bikini bottoms and boardshorts. In-between sizes should size up. All kids swimwear and trunks feature many places for adjusting and can stretch with your child as they grow.
